USFS Releases Final Planning Directives

The final USFS planning rule directives, effective January 30, 2015, are now available. The 2012 Planning Rule for the National Forest System became effective in May 2012. The USFS released proposed planning directives for public review and comment on Feb 2013. Over 16,000 comments and detailed recommendations from the Federal Advisory Committee (FACA Committee) were received.
